After 17 weeks of waiting for my GTS, and being told "oh it will be here next week" for the last 8 weeks of that ... I FINALLY GOT A CALL WITH MY GTS's VIN.

It's been a long time going since this whole thing started and I hope it will all come out well in the end. Everyone I have spoke with on Modernvespa.com loves the bike.

The dealer going to try and get the GTS prepped and delivered to me tomorrow (Saturday)and if not, Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. My luck, the big bike race is happening in Philadelphia this weekend and many roads are closed. The dealer is in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. Home of "The Wall" and the shop in on the race path.

Getting in and out of Manayunk will be crazy until Monday ... when of course the dealer is closed.

So in closing ... I hope the real adventure with the GTS will start by next week. What has happened so far trying to get my hands on one has been a nightmare.
